We don't get together often. Yes we all run scalers. I go to TN for the most part and run with some guys. You can sign up and http://scaletrailrunners.com/index/

Typically ill drive 1- 1.5 hrs and meet up with them and sometimes car pool and venture into Alabama. Here in BG we've gone to Shanty Hollow lake several times. It's a really cool spot and perfect for scalers! Ill send you a pm with contact info!

I have been wanting to join this site but how in the heck do you become a new member? When I go to it there are only two places to login if your a current member and nowhere to create an account or any information on how to become a member.

I live in the BG area and go crawling almost every week. My friends and I do a mix of trail and comp style crawling. We basically drive our rigs around and try to crawl things that look impossible. It's a lot of fun. Our group is small, 2-4 crawlers when we meet up. But we have fun.

In BG I only know of a couple of places, one is in the corner of the shopping center with Roses and Priceless. It's not much, but we use it to judge improvements we made and work on our abilities. Then there is the water park near the new Walmart. Over by the Pavilion where they play disk golf there is a Creek that has maybe 100 yards of crawling space. It's fun but don't forget bug spray. If you are heading towards Scottsville, just after you cross the Allen County line, take your second right and you will see a Creek with some challenging crawl spots on the right. My favorite spot is either the Rochester dam for hard crawling, or the trails at mammoth cave for simple trail runs. What spots do you know of?

Shanty Hollow Lake is the best spot. It has trails and water and mud. Been to Rochester dam and back behind the water park in BG.

I don't like water and mud much. My stuff is water proofed, but that's just a precaution.

It's more for scalers. The closest spot to BG for comp would be Rochester Dam up near Owensboro.
