| I had alot of fun, it was cool to meet up with JB, Heavy, and Wes again and check out what's been going on, on the local front again. Anywho, crawled at GR for a good while, then moved on to a new location called The Spillway-excelent scale terrain. I can't wait to get a pajero on it! ![]() Donuts with a crawler-only in Kentucky I guess that applies for wheelies too? Wes brought out his awesome bike-no Hemi but it does have a turbo :-P More donuts-damn we're going to be fat soon Heavy going at Heavy hill: ![]() JB hittin' it: Here's a fun little wall Notice that two wheels are off the ground? Dammage! ![]() Heavy's in my bed! His junk is under my hood too! Yeah that's about a 500 foot role into a few feet of water Check it out-scale folage This place would be great for some rock racing-anyone up for it? The actual spill way ![]() Yup-heavy broke about three nuckles total Got a little wet. ![]() All the pics are here: http://www.elsomething.com/may21pics/ I should have the video up sometime, just waiting for JB to e-mail it too me. |

| Hell yea! Had a blast. I gotta get some aluminum knuckles. I fixed my rear diff, and also think I've cured the glitching problem. CHECK OUT THE 40'S!!!!!! ![]() Moabs haven't gotten here yet, I can't wait to crawl some of that stuff again with my diff fixed and them. Picked up a copy of RCDriver a Wal-mart and saw my tires in the front. They must be starting to get more popular, the price has almost DOUBLED! When I got mine they were $26.99 a pair, now they're 50! Thanks for the spare parts guys. I've got you a replacement knuckle syco, I'll bring it to you sometime in the next week or so... Heavy |

They used to be distributed by Power Racing Products, but they have been taken over by another company. If you look in the "new products" or whatever they call it section of either RCDriver or RC Car Action magazine, the one on the shelves right now, they show them, and the new distributors. They are a pretty good tire. The rubber could be a little grippier(?) but they are very tall and compliant. The sidewall is a tad thin, but not too thin. They will wrap around a rock and help pull itself over, but they will also fold over fairly easily. If they were made of M2 and had just a hair thicker sidewall they would be the ultimate tire. But they are still pretty good. They are better than any tire I've tried before,..........but there are a LOT of tires I haven't tried. Heavy | |
