That should be right on the money for good wheel speed and crawling levels of gear reduction.

Default Parts not found

Dave,

I searched the Kyosho web site tonight for the new parts but each search yielded "We did not find any results matching that criteria."

Are these new parts supposed to now be in stock?

Thanks much,

Carl

David, you're killing me. Seriously.

I still haven't received a return call from Steve yet. Is he on vacation?

Ken,

I just called him at home. He has been out of the office the last two days and will be in tomorrow. He will call you as soon as he gets your message.

Quickster,

The parts wont show up on the site immediately. Please call customer service if you want to order some directly.

Hey Ken, sorry I didn't get your message yet. I've been out of the office for two days working on a project. Now that it's complete, I'll be back in the office tomorrow as Dave mentioned, and I'll call you shortly thereafter.

David or Steve can we get a breakdown of the part numbers needed and the quantities to build two axles? I was going to look everything up in the online manual but couldn't find it uploaded on the Kyosho site yet.

I know axle kits are coming in the future but I have no patience.

Let me work on the manual and exploded parts diagram. It will need to be converted before being uploaded. Remind me in a couple days if I haven't posted it...

Thanks David.

Do you know why the shaft for the worm gear is only available with the stock gears? When building the axles from parts this requires purchasing 1 set of low speed gears just for the shaft. The 2nd shaft isn't needed as it comes with the dig.

Hey David,

Another thing that's misleading on the parts list is the driveshafts (RF012 Universal joint). In the description it says 2pcs, but you only get 1 complete unit. $45 for one is a bit much.

Also on the topic of the worm gear shaft. Hopefully these will be available separately. I'd hate for a set screw to come loose, damage the shaft and I'm stuck buying the whole stock gear set to replace it.

Both good questions. I will have to "dig" for some answers.

As for the driveshafts, I think they are referring to the universal joints as there are two to a pack. I will get an definitive answer for you.

It will probably be sometime next week at the earliest before I can get an answer due to the holidays.
