What pitch are the Kyosho pinion and spur gears,are they metric like say tamiya? cheers |

I believe there was a previous post about this and the conclusion was that they are 48 pitch but metric like the Tamiya stuff. I think that it was also posted that Robinson makes compatible gears. Carl |

im using regular 48p spur and pinions. its easier to find and deal with imo

Yup. They posted 48p of Robinson racing pinions and kimbruogh spurs will do.

Tamiya uses both regular 48p gears and metric depending on the kit, anyway, Kyosho uses regular 48p pinions ans spurs, kimbrough, robinson, AE, Duratrax, Kyosho and more make pinions and spurs that will work fine.

Cheers guys,i tried tamiya metric pinions seem to be a slightly different pitch! havent powered up motor though. Ill have to find some kyosho pinions. |
