| Pant Crawler - Unlimited class Mad Force Based Pant Crawler - Unlimited class Mad Force Based Finally here my large scale project based on a Kyosho Madforce; in this italian forum build history Chassis: MadForce plates and custom alu bars Axle: Mad Force, locked diff, custom alu 4 Link Skid: homemade alu, protect diffs and tranny. Steer: 4 Ws indipendent; steering servos on axle Shoks: Savage, 800 oil without spring, full drop setup Transmission: chain from Mad Force,modified tranny for mount homemade Dig Wheels: Beadlock series 40 hex 23, junfac adapter 14-23 x 17mm offset modified Tires: Integy Motor: group motor-gear reductor-gearbox from electric driller, 1st gear: 1:57.85, 2nd gear: 1:20.25 Weight: 6.7 Kg Wheelbase: 450 mm Grond Clearance: 60 mm Toque: 15 Nm in 1st gear Battery: 8 cells (post) or 6 Cells in line (on ant axle); indipendent servo' battery. First, what is a Pant? Second, Welcome to RCC's Force Board Third, That is one sharp looking TVP Super. I'd like to see some more detailed shots of it though. The BTA tie rod looks like it may be flimzy. The hex adapters look like a lot of added stress on the Knuckles and "C's". I would have used Savage stubs and Pro Line 23mm adapters. Lot narrower. |

Thanks!!! When i choose a model's name, i think to my old nickname... Pant came from Pantani, the "Pirata", best italian Cyclist (few year ago i play cicling on road, but now i'm a Downhiller/Freerider ) In the last picture will see last mod, battery mount on front with strongest steering tie rod (M3 alu bar with d.6 alu tube, under lower links). The madforce plastic part are very strong, ad far no problems! Here last video, in my profile will find more about the story of the model. Now i plan to narrow wheels... Stay Tuned for new mods! |
