making body panels http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0268.jpg |
drive shaft clearance pics. where the twin axles have the pinion turned upward it interfered with my upper links some. so to fix this i drilled new holes for the trans and moved the outputs closer to the center. i could have turned the pinions back down but i think im gonna put some high clearance links on it soon, so i wanted to keep the drive shafts where they were. http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0056.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0055.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0054.jpg |
well here is the finished pics. now for the embarrassing part, i took it out to our lake crawling spot last weekend and forgot the camera:oops:. it needs some fine tuning but not much and it actually held up fine. i need to do some mock up with the t8 motor for my blower buggy then im putting it in here and that's when the video will be shot. i will get some more pics the next time im out on the rocks but until then here it is. http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0072.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0076.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0070.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0068.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0043.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0052.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0046.jpg |
now for a little sneak peak, cant say much but keep an eye out for these 8mm out puts from www.supershafty.com i do think the production run will only have 3 screws holding the out puts on the gear, but all i can say is beef! http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0058.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0062.jpg |
It looks great with the body panels on .."thumbsup" However I would mount the panels on the inside so the chassis is seen but that's just my opinion  Can't wait to see this thing blast around :ror: Morten |
love it man!!! can't to see some video of that thing!!!! how do you keep the steering link from hitting the pumpkin w/o bending it some. i had to bend the one on my super. |
