thanks for all the great info Reflection. Im back to the thinking stage of this build and will be needing alot of help. I really do take all the info gatherd to heart and will be building as I get some parts ordered. As for the esc I will be running an fxr for now because I have one still in the box that has been collecting dust and its time for it to come out. Im going to go with the axial trany because that is what I know most about. I didnt know that they made 6mm outputs for it, do you have a link to where you got them? I thought that they were all 5mm. Anyways it back to work so I can afford this build.. lol

Thanks to all

I've got a HR dig I picked up in a trade. Pretty weak looking honestly. Gonna install it in my sons scaler one day, it may hold up to a 1.9..... From my experience, the best dig on the market is a VP. Eritex made a nice dig unit. Gereme builds some really nice stuff to, I'd say it's a good dig unit. I don't know the specs on it. I've never run one.

My 6mm outputs, the chromoly outputs are all CDW outputs. As far as I know, picking them up used is the only way as I believe he quit making them. My stainless steel outputs are custom built, had them built before anyone was offering upgraded outputs.

Just seen this on the 6mm outputs.....

Im thinking about these tires and wheels..

http://cgi.ebay.com/Proline-40-Serie...item45fc688f16

Is this a good price? I havent found a better one yet.

Are these the wheel adapters you all are running?

My tires/wheels, revo shafts, should all be here by mid week also. I orderd the trany from ckrc and recieved a call today and said they are waiting for there order to be filled so it wont be shipped until mid to late in the next week. EERRRRR they are also sending servo's and servo arms at that time.

Its hard to wait on something they should have in stock. they should have marked it out of stock on there web site.

I will be drilling out the skid plate and front cross braces to get them ready for assembly.

I might change the name to Creepy Crawler..lol sounds better

thanks

Disturbing graphics. Creepy crawler is a little weak. Un-dead, or re-birth, Beelzebub, blood and guts.

And on another note, the hex's will work, the wheels and tires ain't bad for a play rig, and the CKRC trany (I'm guessing has) are stock Axial 5mm outputs. They do offer a steel gear that you can install you own outputs on I did see.

NEVER had an issue with CKRC. Never needed anything fast though either.

Super Shafty is the bomb for beef. This is the gear I was referring too http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/ax10-har...rs-p-2932.html

That looks like a good set up for a super running two, say 35t motors. Run a 3S 2200mah or better for most satisfaction Price is good too. The Wraith run the same trany as a AX10? Looks similar. Get it and review it. I bet that would be a hot item for formula too.

Oh, Skins look NASTY too
