Savage CF frame for a basher? I was browsing around looking at frames an saw this Savage CF one - LINK Think that'd work for a basher with Twinforce axles an AX10 trans? Looks like the trans plate could be mounted easily enough, but I'm not sure the one end (left) would be stout enough. |
Bet you could make it work. The stock tf has side plates too. Sent from my DROID PRO using Tapatalk |

I'm undecided on whether to get the Savage plates or a custom Snoop chassis with longer cross supports and a wider skid plate. I'm leaning toward shortening the axles to 10 1/2", so might do that first an figure out how wide a chassis I want. |
What the hell happen to this thread? |
I think when they did a cleaning of the forum the other day it wiped out some of the threads Happened to me last year Rick |
The site message said there was a crash. They lost some threads/posts when they restored from backup. Rick how wide is the Snoop chassis? |

Mine is 3.25 and off the top of my head a stock TF is 4.23 (I believe ) Regards Rick |
Did some playing around with that Savage chassis in mspaint. Yellow is chassis cross supports, red is support plates. Each side would be covered in painted lexan aside from the three 'windows', and the hood / roof would be covered, with an open windshield area. (Tried to show that by covering the holes in the pic) http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...CF_Chassis.jpg |
Ahhhh.... Now I see "thumbsup" So the chassis would be a kind of body-less look Very Cool ;-) Rick |
