best way to join a rwvo drive shaft to the output shaft on the axle
 

just like the title said.
i have drilled the pinion, but it not straight so i get a lot of wobble
so i have a new set but i need to find a better way to join up my redo drive shafts.
i saw some were a custom aluminum one made by Mike?? i think.
but i can't find them any where.

any help would be great

rc-monster.com has an aluminum coupler for revo shafts and 1/8 scale different. I plan to use these.

v8 4x4 are you making steering linkage to work on the full size TF axles?
i'm using you servo mount(which are super cool) but the servo horn hits the main link, so right now i have the horn pointing up.
was wondering if you made a bent one to fit around it

Mount the servo on a set of the angled servo mounts or put some shims under it. Other option is to rotate servo mount back but that seems to set the shark fin off.. just a few ideas

I forgot to say, when I drilled mine the were way off and all I had to do is spin it and but the pin in from the other way. it got them to run more true and if you need to drill the hole a little deeper in the end that slides onto the pinion, my first one wasnt sliding on for enough. I wont lie, I found it all a pain in the @ss also but just work with it and see what you can do. I thought mine were done but now the work great.

i just got 2 on their way
looking forward to getting them.

just to clarify i will need to drill and tap new set screw hole.
on the other side closer to the end. is that right.

could a guy cut them down so they slide on further and use the stock hole, or would i have to cut away to much to make it work that way..

That's correct, drill and tap on the other side.

The problem with cutting it down is you'll lose that lip that hits the inner bearing race. You could tighten it up off the beating and hope it doesn't move or it'll hit the axle case or outer bearing race. Plus you'd be cutting a fair amount off.

already broke a dog bone
when i put the supershafty 4 link mounts instead of the stock TF ones i put the axle screws into far and they were rubbing on the bone and coursed it to break

No real plans for steering linkage because of so many different options :cry:
