Talking Mad Hammer KOH

First off, go easy on me as I'm a total newb to these axles, and 1/8th scale in general.

This build is for the owner of my local Hobby shop, it was his idea and it's all his parts, so here we go.....

The cage is starting to come together, just waiting for the rear shocks to show up and some other misc parts. The front shock tower will be coming off and the shocks will be chassis mounted. The cage is just tacked for now as I'm mocking it all up.........

And no clue at this point, we're looking for something not so monster truck in a 2.8, also need two different offsets.

Awesome stuff going on in here. Now you have me thinking about my old 1/8 scale Ofna roller that just sits... I have a spare summit transmission that needs a home too.

its looking awesome man. i see a lot of the same engineering i put into mine. must mean we both have the right ideas ;) those lower chassis mounts are almost identical.

so what scale is this gonna be with two long sides its gotta be huge.

I just finished checking out your build you gave the link to, very cool to see that thing come together. When I saw the first version of your rear links mounts; I thought what the hell those look nothing like mine, then a few pages later I saw your new version. They do look damn similar must mean I'm headed in the right direction I don't feel I engineer anything I just cut, drill, bolt....stare and redo if necessary. Using 8th scale truggy parts and that D8T front end is super wide,so yeah 2 long sides to get the same width. Not really building for scale, just for fun using what he had laying around. Thanks

yeah man. i was looking at an old inferno buggy i had around, and the slash craze came about. i said to myself that i can make something cooler. its a little ugly, but its built like a brick shit house. i've cartwheeled and flipped the things a ton and have not once gotten any breakage.

i look forward to more!
