Twin/Mad Force axles

Just wondering how strong Twin/Mad Force axles are? Would the hold up to bashing Jumbo Kongs? Can the be built to handle big tires like Kongs? I am looking to build a monster! And the Kongs are the tires I want to run. Thanks for your help!

They would be the best bet for Kongs by far. If you are using dogbones, just be sure to put rubber O-rings inside the drive cups to keep them centered so you don't bend shafts.

You'll want to take a look at the Super Shafty site. He makes some parts for the Mad/Twin force that could handle the big power and tires you want.

JohnRobHolmes I am not sure how I will run if Dogbones happened to be the strongest option then that will be what I run so I will keep that in mind!

Binaryterror I have been checking out SuperShafty already, I like to do my research before I get into anything. That's the reason I am gathering info on the Mad/Twin axles, Clod axles don't really have the look that I want. All the sites I have found have some pretty neat stuff no matter what you build!

Thanks for the replies!

To have a stronger option than dog bones most convert to CV shafts. It my "Sticky" there are many options available for direct replacement or custom widths.

Supershafty has everything you need.

like bart said there are lots of options for CV upgrades. even making your own custom length ones by sleaving with some brake line.

that said, anything running jumbo kongs will have a much higher tendancy to break. theres just a lot of added stress.
