Please double check my wiring, Fo-xx

Hi,

my first post

I got my new Fo-xx VE today. It is fitted with an Orion Vortex R8 ESC.

I have bought a pair of 5,000mha 40c 3s lipo packs. The truck comes with a prewired pair of plugs that link the + and the - together on Deans conectors.

I assume that would be for twin 7.2 nicads giving 14.4 volts as the truck can be run on 4s.

So if I were to run twin 3s lipo, I'd need to make a 'Y' harness so both the + and - are joined together. this would then give the ESC 11.1v at 10,000mha.

Am I correct ????

This is what I have in my manual. I don't think it is right for twin 3s ??? Please advise

Hi just get a deans connector the female side and short across the solder tabs and connect them across and plug it into one side of your esc's plugs the side by the #4 in the photo and then you can use the other one for 3s.

That picture is a series diagram.. (6s with 2-3s) You want parallel wiring for double the Mah..
