| Differences of axle generations?
I am pretty new to the kyosho mad force trucks. I picked up a first gen mad force and was curious as to what differences there is between the first gen axles and a later set like the cruzer ve or foxx. Any info is appreciated or if someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

first is the wheel mt bolt on the early version and and a nut to hold the wheel on the later models which makes the outer axles different but just as strong.also there is a 3rd axle, hub size that came out on the latest,a buggy type hub design.the steering knuckles are different, less steering on the older models.the shocks mount to the outside on later models, inside on earlier models.the front ring and pinion is aluminum on older model, steel helical gears front and rear on the later models, but i have never had any problems with the stock front gears but some have, depends on driving style.as far as dimensions, everything seems to measure the same, can upgrade to newer parts if wanted.hope this helps. |

Thanks for the Information! I want to update these axles to as current as I can get. Now I just need to figure out the direction for the build. The truck is pretty much complete but I'm thinking on building it into a foxx. Thanks again!
