Default Twin Force Outer Axle Housing Drawings

Twin Force Outer Axle Housing Drawings

I drew these up for Snakeman a while ago and he has been after me to get them posted, so here they are.

Thanks Rick, Here ya go Raptorman57. These dimensions are made to keep the outer piece as thick as possible, while still allowing the dogbone to pass through.

The outer flanges also would need to be jigged up and welded to the correct length listed.

Thanks for the pics Rick, awesome work as always.

Snakeman, sorry I haven't been on line in quite some time, been extremely busy. I took my Twin over to Jerry's house so he could look at the axles. He didn't say yes or no to building them although he is exremely busy with side work right now. If he could get to building them it would be a while till he could. He did say they would invole quite a bit of time for different set ups and such with the tooling he has right now. If he had a better selection of tooling he could build them faster,ie. less set ups. I'm gonna keep on him and see if we can get some built but I can't make any promises as to when.

I'll get these drawings to him and maybe they might shed some light. Maybe they won't be as bad, concidering all he did was look at them without taking measurements or anything.

Cool, no worries. I finally got some replacements from Kyosho, so at least I'm running again.

I won't have any time to mess with my twin for a while, I'm in the middle of a motor swap on my 1:1 trail rig. If/when he figures something out, shoot me a cost and I'll go from there.
