Any one have any upclose pictures of the Rock Force hexes? I'm running 14mm hexes on my 2.2 twin force (same stub axles) and switching to 12mm hexes would open up lots of wheel options. Are the rock force hexes drilled for an 8mm hole all the way through the hex or just in the round part of the hex? Thanks

I did see those pictures Bart Bender. I was kinda curious how much width they would add over the stock 14mm twin hexes. They kinda look like the pin goes through this round part of the hex. To me that seems to add a lot of width.

I'll bet the adapter is a slot that slides over the pin. The part you have circled looks about the same size as the stub bearings. Maybe 3/16"?

Blue Beard, that is where the hex pin resides. Kinda goofy hexes IMO. Drilling out 12mm hexes or custom 14mm beadlocks seems like a better option if your worried about width. How'd them adapters work?

I quickly looked at some 12mm axial hexes I have, and they would be a very simple mod, might do it tonight, and post some pics...

It may work, probably the best bet would be to just drill out the grub screw hole to the correct size of the pin. The pin in the Kyosho stubs dwarf the Axial pins a good deal. If that don't work,I think the next best thing is to take a small end mill and open up the slot. After drilling the hole out for the monstrous pin and then drilling them out to 8mm,there won't be much left of the 12mm hex. | |

yeah, 14mm hexes seem to be the best bet. These RF stockers look good though.
