Default An Alaskan rock force

Well for lack of a better title, I got mine finished and it crawl's petty good so far, it's going to be a few months before we see any rocks up here, but I am willing to bet this thing won't have any problems. I did switch out the rims and tire's. So time will tell, but it did go together very well. Here is a couple of pics.

Good job on the build. Why is the body sitting so high? Looks like you didnt cut along the lines . Whats the breakdown of the build?

The body is all the way down, I did leave a little bit of the fender well, but other than that it's all trimmed, The best part on this thing is the axles, very beefy. As for the build, it went together really good and no issue's at all.

Thanks Patrick, by the way nice job on the nevada comps.

do you think the Rock Force is worth the money $400

or is the Tamyia CR-01 for $300 a better deal

The hexes are the same size, the stock wheels are a bit on the ... um huge size. Eritex, Inc is working on a sweet set of wheels that get the width down to 9.75! Eritex Inc. test bed

The Losi looks to be very promising and they make great products. My suggestion would be to watch the Kyosho threads the next couple weeks and see some of the builds that are being done. I think that the quality and durability that Kyosho is famous for as well as their innovations will shine through as people start getting these on the rocks!

I couldn't be happier with the Kyosho, It's built like a brick $hit house. If this thing crawls as good as it looks tough, it should be a top contender.

Wrong question to ask this guy. He's got the sickness so bad that if he even suspects something might be a crawler, he snatches it up

Jim, you think you can keep your grubby hands off that thing till spring or are you gonna cave in and mod it before you even get it on the rocks?

The only thing or should I say 2 things I am going to do is the dig unit when it becomes avalible and a larger pinion gear and rims from eritex. Ok so it 3 things, but honestly I think this Kyosho is going to be a tough one to beat.

Very nice job! It looks excellent with the beadlock rims and the new tires. I especially like the paint job - simple enough to sticker it up without it getting too busy, and still colorful. Well done.

Thanks Stevep, I really like the body also, but from what I have read it's not legal for 2.2 comp. So the search is on for a new body.
