| Hey guys. I will be picking up my rock force on boxing day, and I was wondering, If im not looking for alot of wheelspeed what motor would you guys sugest. I have built a RF for my LHS with a tamiya silver can just so it can be driven, and i would have liked a bit more grunt on the bottom end, as whell as some better low speed control. I was thinking of using a reedy 27t with an FX-R, or maby a goat system with an 18.5 motor on it, both powered by only a 2s 3300mha lipo with a 25c discharge and a 35c burst rate. Since you guys have been playing with motors and gearing I thought I would ask your opinion, any help would be great. |

The lowspeed gearset is extremely precise at low speeds with the 55T I tested with. It is pretty slow though. Try experimenting with 35T and different pinions until you find your sweet spot. Let us know what you decide you like! - David | |

| David, you didn't happen to try a 27t motor in your testing yet did you? |

| If you liked the wheelspeed of the Tamiya, which is a 27 turn motor, you can go from there. Using something more quality than a Tamiya silver can will give you better slow speed control and more grunt. |
