I bought one and personally didn't like it! I found it overpriced, the chassis could have been much smaller (remember I live in Japan and this thing was about $630USD off the shelf).
I installed the dig also but I wanted to avoid another money pit crawler and to get it to how I would like it would have been more $$$ I don't have ;) The ideas are good but it could have been pulled of better.
It is as strong as an ox though which is a good point.

Some people might think differently though.

Itīs expensive, for sure. But if you toss the heavy-ass chassis plates you have the most solid basis to build somethin out of. Iīve never built such a well machined piece of crawler up to this one. Itīs just not gonna be such an easy built since a whole bunch of people seem to not like it very much. Therefore you will have to come up with a whole lot of solutions for yourself.

This is a new product. Setups will take a little time but they are being worked on. There are people working on things that haven't been brought out on this site yet. Over the next couple of weeks you will hear a lot more about setups.

As to the original question, yes there have been a few in the for sale section and I don't think that is too unusual. Sales continue to be great and the inevitable aftermarket segment will kick in and you will start seeing custom parts relatively soon. I know there are a lot of folks waiting on that.

now that i have one in hand i can start to comment. this kit went together without a hitch. the fit of all the parts was precise . this is what i have come to expect from kyosho. i think with some tinkering this kit will certainly be a good comp rig. i have not driven it yet but my first impression is wow beefy as he ll . ill post a thread with pics after i have driven it.
