Hi guys. I am a long time member, but just lurks around. I am not a hardcore rock crawler. But I once had a TXT-1 and Gecko clod that somehow Toyed with to be a crawler. It just never caught on me. I am more of a Monster Truck guy (owning E-Maxx, E-Revo, Juggernaut, Dagger and clod). Anyways, here comes KRF. I don't know what is it about this kit, but I would like to have one so bad. I like how it looks stock. First thing I'll ever do if ever is make it fast. Having a speed like a stock Clodbuster, is good enough for me (I think that is 15mph). Is that possible? Putting in the HS gear set, smallest spur, biggest pinion and a mod motor. I saw the kyosho vid and found the Kyosho can even make a small jump. So, i am guessing it can speed up somehow. Is it worth the money to buy a kit (which is already expensive) and buying those things to make it fast or I am looking at it the wrong way...which is - it is just made for crawling. Post you opinion guys. Thank you.

Everyone agrees that the RF is tough as nails. This might be the perfect truck for you.

That is one factor why I am liking this kit. It is all beefy. No worries about breaking stuff.

i bought mine used from the for sale thread here but the thing is still new, the guy just had too many projects going on and had to give it up, i open the package and just the RF is amazingly impressive. do more research before you make the decision, but you wont regret the RF for sure.

I have to agree with everyone here who posted a comment. I bought mine because I just thought it was a bad a$$ looking crawler and even though thus far mine is basically all stock, I love the thing. It is one rock solid rig and rightfully named as the 'Rock Force'. Carl

Well. After checking AMainHobbies and finding out the KRF is in-stock...I took the plunge! Just have it ordered. $399.99 less $25 with their coupon code. I have it shipped via USPS Priority to Canada. So if there is no delay with Canada customs, I might have it by next week. Watch out guys. I'll be bugging you with so many questions. Now to shop for the High Speed Gear Set. Man. This hobby is really expensive :-P.

Sorry to bump my thread up. Just found out that the stuff I ordered from Towers (steering servo, grease, pinion and spur) and Amain (KRF kit)are already shipped. Then, I just finished ordering the HS gear set from Stormers. The hardest part now is waiting.
