Default Jootz@RF

got my used RF yesterday with all the parts and box in a package. the rig is really impressive when i first saw it and now will try to build it up to a level i will feel comfortable in and not be throwing benjamins at it like they came off trees.
the wheels and tires have not been glued up, the body is still unpainted and most important part is the dig part that came off the parts tree is there.
i am waiting for my HS gears and dig to come in and then start with the build. i have cut down an old t-maxx bod which i will use for test crawls when i get this up and running, for now here it is barebones

how it came off the package, note the back wheels, fixed that today but will trim off the stockers to size.

That body really does look great on the Rock Force. It is as smooth looking as the rig on which it is mounted.

You said it was an old T-Maxx body. Do you remember who made it?

Thanks,

Carl

you gave the thumbs-up on the seller (great guy) i went in and never looked back, besides the RF is impressive specially the trouble people here are having configuring it to run like their axial, clod or berg got me hooked, tweak time
plus your support of the product and to the owners in this site sealed the deal.

Whoa. Those are queality stuff! How much is the total bill?

I even can't start my own computation with my RF cost. I am trying to re-use some of my stuff to lower the building cost.

this is my first kit so i dont have other parts, wish i did though. 724 benjamins out the door, but i did away with the major parts. wheels and tires can wait till the aftermarket catches up, specially the wheels.
how is your build going ? thanks for the tech info too, same with dezmoon.

the motor esc combo i bought yesterday was not sitting with me and i wanted to pick-up that xtreme rc mag. returned the esc/motor combo and ordered a tekin R1 pro and got a integy 55T lathe motor to play around with, besides i needed bullet connectors and deans plugs from the LHS, gonna wait for JRH to come back from vacation and see what i could use.

quick question, what lipo batteries are you guys using ? TIA

bored waiting for parts, i started with the servos for steering and dig or 4WS, attached rollers to the long drag link, will hold off on the short link till i get the ESC in and set EPA. had enough time to tweak on the DK mod and do a bug body. i liked the DK mod since it stretched my wheelbase to 12.5 and didnt affect articulation, oh and some slash rear beadlocks to replace the stockers since i didnt want to glue tires for cost savings. that put me at 10 3/4 cool just for now...

That bug body looks good on the Rock Force. Would that be one of the split rear window bugs?
