Default fried dig servo

lucky i didnt fry the mamba, could this be the reason i nuked my tekin trying to program dig ? could i have been sold a broken hitec 5645 ? was running the rig and used the dig, rig made the turn, turned off dig. 2 secs the rig doesnt respond to radio. take the body off, RX leds is switching between green and red, esc 1st and 3rd leds are blinking and BEC red led lit, smoke coming from dig servo where the wires come into the servo so i immediately disconnect it from the RX and see that the servo plugs to the RX were starting to fry.
connect back everything and the rig gets crawling again minus the dig. could i send this back to hitec for fixing or to the LHS i bought it from. ive been having trouble with the rig since i started on the dig so its clear theres something wrong with the servo.
ADVISE ???

end of rant

using the futaba 3PM, all the trouble started with that dig servo, setting epa fried the tekin. gonna hit the LHS and see watup with the servo. worse case i`m gonna get a different brand of rear servo try 4WS with a Y reversing harness and see how it goes.

Im using a dx6i and a spectrom heavy duty servo that comes with spectrom radios for my DIG ,it works ok,thats all i had.But you have to set your end points, and proberly recheck them after a little use, most important.

i do have the CC BEC installed, good thing with LHS they gonna replace the nuked servo with whatever i want in the same price range and they are gonna deal with Hitec on the return, so its all good, gonna go with a airtronics or JR.
look what i picked up while complaining.

drift rc, got a good deal on trade-in with my t-maxx. already had new drift specific rimz, tirez and body before i left the place/LOL
