http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...50&FVPROFIL=++ That is what you want, only tower no longer sells kyosho stuff. you can go to Kyosho's site and get their dealer map, well here:http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/locatedealer/Map.asp and order them from the closest dealer. probably be about $25 apiece. The stock gears are pot aluminum, not that strong, these are much better. Last edited by snakeman; 07-14-2005 at 01:26 AM.

I use the same gears front and rear of mine. I feel these are the best to use for 2 reasons. For one, they are cheaper than the other steel gears. 2,they are helical cut so they are quiter and operate smoother. I'd recommend getting a couple shim packs though. Being helical cut, they need to be shimmed up,just like a real ring and pinion. If the diff gears are to loose and aren't meshed properly they will pop and skip a tooth if trying to climb a rock wall and it gets bound up. I ran my front diff to loose for several months and it would pop and skip teeth MANY MANY times in each run. I was kinda suprized after I got the shims and took it apart to shim them up. The gears still looked new, even after all the popping, that right there told me how tough this gear set is. Plus, since day 1,they've been spinning Kongs on a 19 pound rig When my son was building his I bought the same stuff,2 ring and pinion sets and 2 shim packs. His diffs took 3 on both front and rear,so obviously they aren't all exactly the same.

The stock gears are made out of pot metal aluminum,VERY VERY cheesy if you ask me. Yes,they are the same size as the 7.5 buggy gears and a guy could get steel gears for the buggy. The helical cut gears though, are cheaper and in my opinion, stronger. If shimmed up properly you should have more contact between the pinion and ring gear and it'll have alot smoother operation.

Not sure if you got some yet but I just ordered these http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...ducts_id=13279 same as the link above. I don't care to order from dinball because it takes a while for it to come in but that's a good price. I used express shipping and it was $21.00 shipped.
