This must be one of the only Twins around here that is stock...A lot of you have killer looking TF's, maybe when I'm done with my TLT I might look into making this a crawler. As of now I want to water proof it so I can go muddin with it. It was like a virgin in this pic.....After 5 runs it now sits with the rear pinion and ring gear smooth as silk. I have a set of helical gears on the way!

Mine was stock until about 1 week ago. Now its a pile of parts slowly coming together as a crawler. I did have a blast with it in stock form though. Kind of hated to modify it, but........ I would like to build one with a tube body, twin axles, e-maxx tranny, brushless. Set it up with a stiff suspension and put some maxx size swamp dawgs on it. Kind of model it after the icelandic racing jeeps. You know the ones that climb quarry walls. Would be sweet as a mud and sand runner too!

http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/# Is their website. I got a phone number off there and ordered some parts I needed directly from them. There was a flat rate of $7 for shipping, not bad for some stuff but for the small parts I ordered, it sucked. They have a dealer map on their site listing current dealers. They are always looking for more, so tell your LHS and maybe they will get set up. | |

Don't think they are going to bring it over any time soon (spirit). I got mine from Tower right before they quit selling them. Got it for $219 + shipping so $239 isn't that bad. If your going to crawl it I would suggest the helicut gears for the diffs. I wish I had from the start. Also, there is a one-way bearing on the front output for the transmission so when going forward its 4wd, but in reverse its 2wd. Easily curable, just order a drive cup for the rear output and put it on the front (I have one I'm not using anymore). you will need to grind a small flat spot for the set screw to sit though. Jeff

so the diff uses a one way drive cup like the mad force eh? that could be very useful since nobody makes one way pinions anymore....
