Well after I broke my 1/6th crawler, I figured it was time for a rebuild. It now only runs one mag mayhem, one batt, and an 7.2v evx. I bought some new shoes for it as well. I repainted the frame black and currently I am still working on the body panels for the sides and hood. The hardest part of this rebuild is the new axle extensions/link/shock mounts. I only machined one so far it it took nearly 3 hours. They only extend the short side of the axle so that the diff is centered. The one in the picture is not done yet. I still need to mill off the extra mounting space on the big circle. ![]() ![]()

I am using a mill and lathe to make the mounts. I am still new to machining so I am a little slow. I did manage to get the front axle finished today. I have to wait till the end of the week for more aluminum to show up before I finish the rear axle. It will be finished this week, so I will post more pics then. ![]() ![]()

I built the chassis is two days. I just did some ruff measurements of what I wanted it to be and then started cutting and welding. The tires are imex swamp kongs and the wheels are hpi 6 spoke black chrome wheels. I decided to change out the wheels for the original twin force wheels because they have a better offset. I still didn't machine the last mount for the rear axle, so maybe next week it will be finished. The servo I have works fine for me. I also don't have anymore money to be buying a new servo, y-harness, and reciever pack.
