Default TF Batt holder mod

Some time back, I came across a thread that shows someone re-positioning the TF batteries to sit between the chassis just behind the spur gear. But I'm unable to find the thread anymore. Anyone has any idea? Thanx..

In think you saw it on another website - because i remember it and it does work all you have to do it move the servo to the axle (make your own mount) then the battery fit exactly on the bars that the servo used to go on you will need to remove the bumper i think

useful mod for a stock TF to stop it wheeling but not so needed for crawling i would say

I "turned my chassis around". I flipped the fearsets in the shouings and positioned my servos on the axles. Now my motors are in the front instead of the rear. I still need to figure out electronic mounting, and battery placement. This might work for me......

Maybe you're right. If you are, i think it might have been at RCMT. But i got no access to it now. Seems like its so exclusive to be part of the website....got my applications for membership rejected couple of times already.

I'd love to do that mod cause my TF is for high speed runs. As for crawling, my TXT will do that job for me. As for and all time favourite basher, I got my trusty Savage to satisfy my craving for speed and jumps.
