| Finished building the Twin from a stock kit last night. Now my priority is to setup the 4 link and axle mounted servo. I have a few questions about these mods as far as utilzing stock components. From the posts I have read, an easy way to make a servo mount is to cut off the stock 2 link arms and use the end of the arms over the axle. Rotate the remaining 2 link part so the ears face the center of the truck. This will allow for a custom servo mount to attach at two points with screws. Also, this gives an alternate shock and 4 link mounting location. Does this sound right? Second, setting up the linkage for the servo. The basic plans are to have a link coming from the servo to the top of the steering knuckle. Then a drag link from the bottom of the knuckle to the opposite knuckle attached at the bottom. Questions are: flip the steering knuckles around so the links are attached in front of the axle? Is so, there seems to be a clearence problem with the stock shock mounting tabs at the end of the axles, the servo linkage may rub (you know how the manual shows to mount the shock to the outside of the axles where the shocks are laying in towards the chassis). Just dremel these off? Thanks for any help. Hope these questions are not confusing. Also, any detailed pics of your axle mounted servos and servo linkage without tires and wheels on would be appreciated. |

| Pics of how I mounted my servo can be seen HERE if you haven't seen it already. As stated in that post, dunno if this set up would work for a Twin Force housing. However this set up is just a servo mount, doesn't give you mount points for shocks or links. Worth a look though for ideas I suppose. |

| You can rotate the outer part of the shaft and screw it back in. The shock mounts will then be pointing back and your knuckles links pointing forward, that's what I did instead of cutting them off. After this you should take the right side knuckle and put it on the left(and left on right) this will orient the knuckle's links properly since after flipping them they become upside down.
