What's up fellow Texan! Where abouts in Texas are you? To answer your question, the Twin Force is discontinued I believe. However the Kyosho Mad Force uses the same axles even though it is nitro. Check ebay or the buy/sell/trade forum on here. Lots of good deals floating around. Welcome to the site btw

I have a set of Twin Force axles for trade in the wanted forum. Check them out. Only 8 or so runs on them. All indoor runs on carpet. I want to trade them for some TLT axles. Clark

Hey thanks for the responses. I'm new to r/c rockcrawling, and I have been looking around for a month or so on here trying to find what best suits me, truck wise. I was leaning toward the TXT, but this Twin Force is looking promising. Hey it's good to see some fellow Texans on here CMAN. I'm over in Dallas, but am in Ft. Worth alot due to parents. Is there any local rockcrawling events, where I could come and check out the difference in these trucks?

I thought this might be helpfull "Locate a Dealer" I have two Twins and a nitro Mad Force, for some parts it's pretty cheap and easy to get parts on Ebay. The Force Axles internals(Diffs, Dogbones, Knuckles, Stubs, etc) are Buggy's, which is cool since most buggy drive train parts are almost universal, my latest Twin project "Shaft" has a few different brands of parts in the axles like HPI, etc.

Hey thanks for the link Jake. It seems there are dealers all around me. Also, are there jeep bodies available for the Twin Force?

Oh ok thanks for clearing that up Jake. I wasn't keeping up with the whole Kyosho/Tower deal when it happened. HPI makes a Jeep Rubicon body. This one I know for sure! Here's a link to some pics from our latest outing last week. Paradise Texas Area

Nice pictures. Is that park you were at on the Flower Mound side of the lake? If so, I was out there a week ago scouting rocks. Cool place to do some wheeling. Next time y'all are going out there. post it up here, and I'll be out to meet ya. Yea, I saw that body. It will fit on the Twin?

That sounds like the same place we go. It's the Murrel Park/Twin Coves area. That whole area is littered with kick *** crawling grounds. I'll send you a PM next time we go crawling The HPI body will fit the Twin for sure. The stock body mounts for the TF may not line up perfectly but the size and wheelbase are a good match.

OK fellas, I'm in. I just bought a Twin Force minus the axles. I'm really looking forward to making this rig rock worthy, so bring on any suggestions you might have. Once I locate some axles, I will be locking them. Already have tires, wheels, and body in mind. I do need help on getting it geared down for more control on the rocks. Probably the simple and cheapest way to get it started for now. 55t lathe? Where is a good place to acquire diff gears, axles and so forth? Any help, suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Will the stock servo be adequate, or should I step it up a notch? Also, is it possible to run the GD600 on a Twin. Well I guess anything is possible, but is it an easy task?

Everything but the trannys are the same. You will want to upgrade the servo, and look at putting it on the axle and ditching the stock steering setup. Also, you'll want to get rid of the front one-way bearing so you will have 4wd in reverse. GD600, yeah it'll fit. I run 2 lathe motors and love it. Long run time, and gobs of torque.

| I figured I would just go ahead and upgrade the whole steering set up. Is there a servo mount out there to buy, or do you have to fabricate one. Like this: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/attac...tid=4999&stc=1 I saw that New Era has one incorporated in to a bumper, but sticks way to far out. I would like to have as much clearance as possible. | Damn I can't locate any axles. I'm gonna have to buy another Twin just for the axles. Anyone here interested in buying the remaining parts when I do? |
