Thanks bud. I am really likeing how it came out. Was able to drop down to a 350 VP hub.



I ended up putting a body on it. I was working with Crawllife on a body but unfortunately he had to close his doors before he could start it. He was very nice a sent the masks that he stared though.

Thanks. It did good the couple times i got to drive it. Definitaly needs same tuneing before its comp ready though.

How many shims did you use on the ring gear side of the locker? I can't seem to get that pinion to mesh at all.???

quite a few. only about half the bearing ends up in the pocket. you have to run a thinner bearing on the other end. here is the bearing that ended up working for me.



i didnt but thinking about it, its probably a good idea to find a wider bearing so you dont have to run so many shims and you get more bearing back in the pocket.

Been running this when ever i have some free time. Starting with a couple small changes to see if i can get it to preform better.

Lowered the rear by dropping the shocks to the bottom hole mounts.


Cut some pins out of the tires.


Made knuckle weights.

With just one bolt into the knuckle. Its just a few threads holding it, so i lock tight it to keep it from backing out.

Its been a little quiet in here. So i figure i will show some small changes i have done.

Didnt like how the toy was performing with the rear links and shocks sharing the same mounting hole. So i went back to how i first had it, but i did move them up and forward on the chassis to still try to get it a little lower in the rear.

Also changed out the rear upper links to Ti. took out the axial plastic drivelines an swaped them for S.D.I propeller shafts.
