some of you might remember me posting a similar design here a while back...I changed my design to use narrowed twin force axles and a twin force drive train. a few things are out of proportion but this is just for the general idea of how it will look, the proportions will be adjusted during build up. I'm using 1/4" .049 cold rolled steel tubing for the frame and I am brazing it then having it powdercoated. the bodys that will fit this design are the fj40 and the rubicon. I just bought a brand new twinforce and fj40 body and the metal tubing is on the way. now to go get some 2.2 wheels and tires. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() also here is my twinforce before any mods and the new fj40 body. ![]()

looks really cool, but mount the batteries in the front and rear, to lower the center of gravity and increase stability

ideally u wouldnt want the frame out that far or the axles that close so the dont interfere with each other. and the axles should be wide enough to mount batteries on them. make it part of your center link mount off topic: you should post some of the stuff from rcdrift on here. im sure your work would be appreciated

Are your pinion angles a little extreme? Maybe rotate your axles to point at your tranny?
