This looks killer! As for the locked axles, what do you use? (has some bad experiences with JB weld and stock diffs ) Jon |

Just jb weld for now. I haven't had any problems with using jb weld. I would use a locker but they are hard to get a hold of. Supershafty used to have them. Same with maximizer products. Everyone wants to reinvent the wheel with a locker.

My current progress. I need to mod the motor plate to allow the motor to come down. Waiting for shorter spacers to move the motor and plate closer to the spur gear. I used 3/4 inch delrin plate to make new trans mounts(to fix extreme drive shaft angle). I used DLux shock pivot balls on aluminum savage 21 shocks. I got the wiring done just waiting for a receiver box. Can't wait to hunt some clod's or txt's! |

I don't know yet. I have a Ramcharger body for posing and a 66 F100 probably for bashing. I would like a Dodge but there's not much out there. Kyosho needs something like this.

A power wagon would be sick. Betty bodies are getting hard to find, but would look great.

Thanks. I'm going for a clean look. Also I didn't want a bunch of one off parts. This way I can bash and break stuff and be back up and running fast. I found a betty body on sleybay its $55 with $23 shipping(no thanks). If the kershaw designs 700 blows I will go with a traxxas 775. Kershaws stuff is junk.

Got my body done. Its a Proline '66 Ford F-100 for a Traxxas Slash. The wide stance looks bad ass to me at least. May have to trim the wheel wells a little. I would like to make a sponsor plate for the chassis. I'm waiting for the receiver box to come and then its out to play. |
