| New Mad Shafts by SuperShafty and MIP I have been getting the bug to build a Mud Truck or Mega Truck. I am no stranger to building big trucks and I happen to have a set of Mad Force Axles sitting on the bench. One of the components I am most concerned about during special builds are DRIVESHAFTS. "Weight of the truck" and "custom lengths" are two variables I have to contend with. Therefore I am always on the lookout for something that will hold up and will fit my application. Recently, I noticed that Rick from SuperShafty addressed these needs, Mad Shafts Monster Driveshafts!!! I have always been a big fan of MIP cvd's. Rick's partnership with MIP has made it possible for us Big Truck Builders to have an excellent choice for driveshafts using quality USA manufactured components. With SuperShafty and MIP, we have the choice to use 5mm, 6mm and now 8mm bore hubs (just what the Mad Force axles call for). In addition 4 choices for male bones from 2.0" all the way to 4.5". This is a great solution when it comes to durability and adjust-ability. These will easily hold up to the abuse my heavy trucks will throw at them and can stretch my wheelbase pretty far. So if you are looking for a quality set of driveshafts for you next custom MT build, be sure to give Rick from SuperShafty a call. He understands this niche of the hobby and can easily help with your special situation! |

Darn good looking rig so far. These shafts are just what the doctor ordered and the timing is impeccable.
