Default Foxx Differential Bevel Set

Hi,

Today I started getting slipping in my rear diff, turned out to be a pair of worn Differential Bevel gears.

I've seen picks of spares with 4 inner gears, two notched shafts and 2 outer gears. This would hint at having four inner gears fitted, but mine only has two from factory.

Should I fit 4 inner gears?
Can I buy harder gears?
Should I just buy a standard Kyosho pack with only two inner gears

Thanks for your help.

Rob.

Don't worry, I've just bought two full rebuild kits with 4 inner gears per set and all other parts.

This is a forum, with semi decent traffic and a lot of Google ad bots. It's not Facebook where millions of people and Google bots see your post. Never mind the fact Kyosho trucks are all but dead.

Aaaah, now I know, thanks for telling me :-)

I always find it funny how a simple question on a forum gets ignored until the poster complains, then everybody comes out the woodwork for a pop! It happens every time.

Nobody wants to help a poster, but everybody Wades in for a keyboard fight!!

Have a good life, I'm out of here :-)

You'll need BS107 differential crosspin and IF102 bevel gear set and some kyosho 40.000 diff oil, if you put these in BEFORE you brake anything one set per item is enough for front and rear diffs
