dual gds with a motor on each would make alot of torque, it would also be a waist of batts. one is enough.

1 or 2 motors

What motor you plan on running?

What size tire?

What pinion you plan on running?

Give a little more details in your questions please. I mean, running a stock can, tall pinion and Kongs,it might be O.K. Running a Lathe or MM 9t pinion and 6" tires it might be a little overkill. I believe theres alot of variables that could be played to grant using 2 GD600's. At the same time, theres alot of variables that would grant 1 GD being pleanty.

I'm running 1 GD and it's fine,for me,but with a different setup,I could see where 2 GD's would work also.

Oh,and in my honest opinion,it would take A WHOLE LOT of torque to be concidered to much in a crawler. Torque is your freind, find the happy medium between have a ton of torque and a decent amount of wheelspeed,in order to "bump it" up an obsticle at times, and your golden.

i found the difference in running two motors and two gd600's is small if you can get the power out of one try that

Default GD 600 with lathe motor

all you need is a gd 600 and a lathe motor all the power you ever need and much less weight than a 2 motor set up.

Ditto to what Trans Am said. I'm running to GD's and a Brushless. The brushless has more torque than My truck can handle! With two lbs. of bb's in the front tires, I managed to twist the tranny output shaft. I could'nt believe it. When I come back from vacation, i'll post pics. To much torque just brakes parts!

Here's a pic of the tranny. The reason it ended up like that is because of two GDs, Kongs, BB's and a Brushless. I could'nt believe it.

With the Brushless the two GD's provide reliability and drag. I don't have to use the brake as much. Going down hill is real slow.
