Default 1:6 Measurements

If something is 1:6th in scale, how do you calculate the measurements for making a scale version of parts, decals, etc? Is it for ever 1 inch on the scale truck it is 6 inches on the 1:1?

IE: if an emblem is 36" wide and 1.75" tall in real life, what would it be for a 1:6th scale model?

1:6th = 1inch scale to 6inches real
36 inches wide / 6 = 6 inches
1.75 tall / 6 = .26 inches (call it a 1/4 inch)

it's easy, take the 1:1 and divide by 6= 1:6.
