oh ok so they're brushed motors then. I bet they'd come to life on 3S

I'm working out the power plant on my 1/6th scale rig right now too.

Hey AIPOHAKU,
did you shim up the bevel gears in your axles? My little brother had the same problem with his ascoiated RC18 and it turned out that he had taken the diffs out for a greasing and didn't put the shims back. So whenever he would punch the throttle or when he got it bound up, it would make a clicking sound. I also had a problem on my nylint, the rims were cracked so when it bound up the hex's would just spin on the axle while making a clicking sound.

Ive actually never opened them up until now..Got them in a trade and just mounted them up...Not exactly sure I know what you mean by shimming them up though..Could you explain?...As for the hexes, they are aluminum and fit so tight I have a hard time taking them out of the wheel..LMK..mahalo for your suggestion.

what he meens is the pinion and the ring gear ar sloppy u use realy thin washers an put them between the e clip and bearing/bushing 1 sec ill try to find some kind of pics

there x factor axles off of a nitro truck but i cant find anyone that sells diff shims if anything just switch the front and rear axles the front dosnt have to work nearly as much as the rear axle dose

LOL!!!..Yeah shes pretty big and heavy..I havnet put her on a scale yet but shes either the same or heavier then my 5B...Shes a BIG GIRL!!..LOL

I think I understand it now..Im heading to the LHS to pick up some shims..I didnt have anything around here that would do...Ill hollah if it doesnt work!..Thanks

Shot more vid today..Got together with a couple guys and went crawling..Got a tow on the King Hauler originally built by Juggster now owned by Hawnmt. Also got "Ruby" out on the rocks for the first time and she did very well!!..BIG had rear diff issues again so I went to the LHS and bought a new rear diff...We didnt have an official camera man so what we got is what you get..Shoots

what are you using for a steering servo? Got any pics of the bracket you used to mount it? I forgot about you using x-factor axles. I'm trying to work out what to do for steering.

Thanks for the words fellas!..Hey Nick..I cut the stock aluminum servo mounts and bent them up..Let me see if I can find some pics...Im using a 5995...or 5955..something like that.
