Try painting the seats drab olive and kahki with everything else flat black. I think if it was me I'd just turn the nitro bottle into a fire extinguisher too.

Thanks for that Don, your suggestions sound spot on. Turning the nitro bottle in to a fire extinguisher is genius.....

Stay tuned for tomorrows exciting episode.

Here is a pic of how I ended up doing the steering on mine. Looks simple but it was a long road. Your steering angles may not be as bad as mine was with your servo mounted vertically.

Thanks for the pic Chevy, that's pretty much what I tried to do with the delrin rod that flexed too much. When I tried to do it in aluminium it looked a mess with all the bends I made.

I'll have another go.

Things never go to plan.

Because of the gearbox, ride height and a ton of other things I had to cut away most of the floor. The seats have to be mounted directly on the chassis as there's literally no room to fit the body on nicely with the seats intact with it.

The next job is to paint all the bolt on bits and make up the fixings to secure the body. Also the wheel arches need trimming.

Some more pics.

Nice build so far. Who makes that body though? I have not seen that one before, but I like it.

Mega motors f-350 1/6. There quite rare, it took me a while to find one.

I've found a little helper....

Meet Shizzle.

Both front and back wheel arches needed trimming, the front is proving to be a bit of a challenge as I have to cut in to the bumper too.

Needed to lower the seat to get the little fella in. Unfortunately the motors are in the way so some of the inside of the seat had to be chopped off.

Shizzle started to strip the truck down while I was at lunch.

All of his scuba gear will be used as part of the junk going in the roof box.

If he's anything like Buster he'll need the scuba gear while he's driving.

The EVX2 will also run on a single battery, just like the first gen EVX. Just have to make an adaptor to figure out wich of the terminals need bridging

How do I go about doing that Gula? I haven't got a clue what needs to be bridged. The last thing I want to do is blow it up.

I'm surprised Buster hasn't tried to escape, poor fella. Perhaps he's good at holding his breath...:?

Yes, but not much, may be a bumper protector or whatever they are called and a frame for the back with a canvas cover. Show us your build then?

Who's this scuba Steve chap? No, he's Captain Bob Shizzle, elite S.A.S special forces, deepy deep water mission leader.

He went in for a small operation yesterday to have them surgically removed, they were part of his feet before. Now they look like old boots.

Steve is definitely being taken out now. Bob has been trained to be an underwater ninja assassin.
