That's freakin awesome!!! Love the scale 4 banger!! I was pretty heavy into RC almost 20 years ago but got out of it for awhile and I ended up with a 1:1 Wrangler and got into Rock Crawling with that and just recently run across the vid of the group of Willys on Youtube and here I am bitten with the RC bug again. I won a Willys just like ZoSo's on Fleabay Monday and am waitin for it to get here. Just bought a pair of Axial AX10 Scorpion axles off Fleabay tonite so I'm on my way to gettin the pieces together for my build. Just wondering if a 1/10 servo will be sufficient or do I need something bigger?? |

it should be fine ,i have a 1/4 scale servo but the motor wouldn't give me enough room ,i had to cut the bottom out of the front of the motor to get some articulation but i think it will work good i don't see any rubbing issues the only thing is this body seems to be a bit wider so the rear is really tight might have to get different offset wheels they don't rub but they might out on the rocks.i actually have another body which is different it don't have the seperate frame rails it is all one piece.

the body don't come off cause i used the jeep chassis ,it is all finished and put together and running should have some pics tomorrow i painted the roll cage flat black also did the steering wheel mod but still need to work out the bugs,it trails really nice i locked out the tranny with a spring but it can be set up as a rear disconnect but i didn't have a 3 channel so i locked it in 4wd but if it is done right you can lock the front and do burnouts or have two wheel drive.
