Default Ranger Prerunner

Trying to get as much of the front end design worked out on the computer as I can before wasting time on the work bench Scales out to be around 24" of travel which is slightly more than what they are getting out of these trucks with these kits but not too out of line.

I can't remember who makes the body but I know they are hard to come by. I think KB toys sold it a while back. Search this forum for "ranger" and you're bound to come across a lot of info.

Here ya go Norm

Well the bed is cut off, pulled the headlights and grill and cut out the fake engine.

Started on the cab wall. After I got the piece cut out I realized that they painted the clear window blue to try and make it look like part of the cab wall. I'm going to redo it and cut that part off the window so the window is clear only and make the cab wall all one piece.

I'm looking to get about 30mph out of it so it'll take a big motor. I'm thinking maybe that new 1717 motor from castle on 6S? We'll see.

Slugs built the majority of it. I drove it for awhile and tore it down for a redux, and I have been slowly been rebuilding it.

Twins!

Oh I'm very familiar with that build! It's KILLER! It's on my favorites and I've read it quite a few times. It was hard to choose between doing a truggy or prerunner. Figured I'd do something different.
