Default Monster VW Bus??

I have had this VW for some time now, always just sitting around, until today when I thought about turning it into a crazy 1/6 Beast.

So I am new to the whole "Modification" and am lost and what would work best, so I figured here would be a great place for Idea's...

To show it's size, my 2.2 is sitting ontop.

In the last picture there are 4 mounting bolts on each side and 2 on each center of the bumper's.

So........ Where should I start.. I know Jerry at DMG and sorta want to ask him to make me a chassis... But what kind of axle's tires and such should I use..

Thanks in Advance!!! I am excited to see this get off the ground.

Actually yes....

Going for Super Bullies just for the sole fact of 2 motors and rear steer.

Dinky R/C is making me the chassis and the Exo Cage!! First we are making Hurst Bumper for front and rear then we are going to build the exo off of them. 40 Series Beadlocks and Tires will be used.. This should be done by spring, as Matt @ Dinky is already working on 2 other builds for me.

So any thought's? We are also going to take the plastic rag top off and put in rail and fabric for a real Rag, and easy access to the inside, without taking off the body.

I've been wanting to do something like this, just can't find the bus body. Looking forward to the build.
