Another bit of progress - rear axle four link done and started to look at where the shocks are going to sit.

The shocks are HPI Baja and the springs are too stiff so I'll be getting softer ones. Plenty more to do.....

Wow, That's a lot of buggy suspension right there. It looks killer!

Best of luck with the softer springs. I had a 5th scale project (long sense been parted out) that I used 5b shocks on. It weighed 20 lbs and the hpi yellow (softest spring that I could find) were still way to stiff for a crawler. So I am interested to see what you come up with.

i use the same shocks on one of my rigs. found that axial springs fit perfict in side the shock body to be used as internal spring shocks. works great because they have a big range from super soft to super firm springs so there is alot there for you to work with. hope this helps

What axial springs do you use? I have ax30217 and they don't fit.

Sorry folks - this project is on hold for the foreseeable future

I have sold my mill in preparation for moving house and wont get my hands on a replacement for quite a while.

Not to mention all the DIY I have lined up at the new place!

I will get back to it eventually but it wont be for a while

Bummer, this build was bringing back memories. Best of luck, and hop on it when things settle down.
