Im not sure who all makes CVDs for WK axles, but a local NOSTR member ran a set and broke them just as easy as the stock shafts if i remember right.

No one makes them anymore. A few vendors carried them but no more. I need to figure out something for it, getting old snappin these things. Not many choices for wide axles and I'm not a fan of wideners either.

MIP used to make them, I scored a set NIP off of here over the summer. I was really unimpressed with the size of the CVD, it's tiny compared to a shaft made for an Axial axle. Maybe we could bug RC4WD enough to make some for the WK axles.

Mine just showed today so I'll be starting a new build thread on it soon. Thanks to FROADER there wont be much thinking behind it, just installing the new components and giving it some fresh paint. |

Here is a quick update. I have the mad/Twind force axles fit. Thanks to Supershafty.com The width is 8.25 pin-pin. Perfect width for what I wanted. I have to remount the tires, bead keeps popping out, and figure out steering. I am getting a slight bimp steer at full compression. |

Love the weathering and simulated rust. Seriously reminds me of my 49 ch3a 1:1 when I first started working on it. One other small detail you could add that seems to be the norm on the old cj's. You need a muffler and pipe exiting the drivers side just in front of the rear wheel well. Make sure the muffler is outboard of the frame rails and smashed to hell, I have yet to see one on a willys that was not. Of course if your jeep is equipped with a V-8 rathen than the original flat head 4 you will need 2 mufflers, equilly smashed of course. Fastball |

Thanks, as you said, it has the V-8 conversion with dual exhaust. The mufflers are tucked up so you can see them though. LOL |
