I'm liking the new front axle, it looks nice w/ the offset pumpkin.

Thanks BigSky. Just need to figure out the darn bump steer.....GRRRR.
Mounted the servo in several spots still getting it. Might be something I have to live with if I want it off the axle.

Oh ya, not sure if you can see them but the side reflectors are mounted up on it too. Fir perfect !! Thanks again.

I had to look again, then I saw the reflectors. Glad that you could use them, they look really cool when the light hits them. I've given up on trying to get all of the bump steer out of my Jeep, it only bumps at full compressions and it adds a bit of realism to the driving!

I agree, I think I may have to live with it. We'll see how bad it gets once the test dive is done.

Well, steering is as good as it gets, I get a little bump steer at full compression. I will try it for a while and see how it is. If it is unlivable, I'll do more work, maybe go 3 link......

Here are shots all weathered up.

Overall. Complete for now.

Thanks bro !

Yes they are 1/6th scale. Not the old GI Joe's though but newer heads and bodies. Several very good manufacturers out now.

I am really impressed , there is not much about this scaler that is out of place from what you would see on a 1:1. I am big fan of everything having a logical purpose on a scale model and not just junked up with stuff to try and make it look more scale. Great job. You have actually inspired me to begin working on my 1:6 willys again since I shelved it some time ago. My only problem is deciding to devote ime to my 1:1 willys or the 1:6 one. Decisions decisions.

It looks fantastic Darin! What is your width on the new axles?

Thanks Big, the new width is 8.25" pin to pin. I have about 1/3 of the tire sticking outside of body, just the way I wanted it.

That rig looks mean reddevildemo! What wheel hexs are you using on the mad force axles to run 2.2s wheels?

No hexes, using the pins and modified the wheels to fit the larger axle shaft.
