i think you should take out the drivers and send a photo of it in to one of the 1:1 magazines in the readers ride section to see if you could fool them into printing it. |

Small update. I took the Willys out for a short run last night, steering sucks as is. I will have to move it to the axle after all. I picked up a GoPro, kickin my ass on editing the thing though. Lost a bead on the rear, looking into new wheels now from Mayham. Here is the vid, I know it sucks skip the middle, it has a good ending. |

Have you tried Vimeo yet? I personally like it much better than you-tube.

Well yes I have Big, I finally tried it. I think I am with you, it does seem to be better. I uploaded this vid to there as well. I'll use that next time. Oh ya, here is the edited version. Much better now although I still have a way to go to measure up to some on here. |

One of the coolest scale builds, about the baddest I've seen yet! Good Job! Willys are sweet! More folks should do them! Last edited by Rocket; 07-17-2011 at 09:06 PM. |

so which tire did you prefer on it the rc4wd's or the proline's? your's and zoso's build have inspired me to finally bite the bullet and get one going. thanks in advance.

Looks wise I prefer the prolines, performance I would say the the RC4WD's until I get a little stiffer foam for the prolines, they are soft with this weight.

Well I have nobody to blame for all this but Norm and all his products along with the TeenyCar build. He truly is inspiring when it comes to scaleness. First up is his great limiting straps. Then after reading his latest upgrades on Teeny and seeing his disc brakes...well it led to trouble. Here is my attempt, no where near the level of Norms but they worked out pretty well on the Twin Force axles. I used this from the craft store for lines, it is like a rubber band material so nice and strechy....is that a word? Fronts- Rear, with valve and ARB air line (in blue). Still need to get the rear lines hoked to the calipers and then pics of the home brew snorkel set up. Thanks again Norm for both pushing me and providing the products to do it. |

really nice detail! With the new 'see-thru' wagon wheels from RC4WD, the brake rotors are going to really set a new standard for detailing.

I agree, Norm drives me crazy with the stuff he comes up with. I am going to do another one of these, looking to get the Dragon kit this time and make it bone stock, parade ready type of build. Going to try and use as many of the "kit" parts as I can on the drive train......I see many beers and headaches coming. |

very nice build I think my next Willys is gonna be Extreme all wheel steering ...maybe even an old school driveshaft dig. (just in case we have a Willys comp at NATS this next year ) |
