Thanks everyone. the rusting is a combination of weathering powders (not chalks) and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhSDc...e=channel_page All I did was use a dremel to make holes, dings and such. I then followed the above process. Worked out great and looks much better in person....my cam and my pic taking both suck bad. I'll post some more detailed pics later tonight after work. |

Practice!! I was into model train diorama making for years. Same thing only on a much smaller (1/87) scale then this. Best thing to do is practice on scrap styrene. The powders add a lot to it overall. | |

This is a great looking rig! I've been looking for some inspiration for when FROADERS Willyz shows up at the house. I am thinking of something very similar since my old '65 Willyz looked a lot like yours, just less rust and more faded paint. |

Glad to see your build thread make it over here. How is the T-case holding up? I've given up on the Killer T-case so I'm looking for ideas while I have my Jeep completely disassembled for painting.

Thanks guys. So far no problems with it at all. I keep snapping front shafts in the WK axles. Been on the look out for some CVD's but no luck yet. |
