That is one bad a*s realistic looking jeep. i love the dry brushing and the scale details such as the door handles, rivets and scale straps.

Dude this is a work of art that seems not afraid of playing in the mud.

One word: SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

Amazing amount of effort in the fine detail!

But why the bling bling beadlocks? Kind of goes against the grain a bit?

This is why I'm leaning toward a Dragon kit instead of a Hasbro Jeep - Look at all that detail! What a nice looking build.

I think the ride height is just about perfect - but I want to build myself a "custom" Willys, not a military re-pop. A true military reproduction might ride a little lower.

What is your opinion of the Dragon kit? Is it strong enough for an RC conversion?

The build turned out great. The Dragon kit is the elite as far as details go. The straps and stuff all come with the kit correct?
Plenty strong for RC as well. It's a shame they're getting harder to find.
Been on the hunt for a couple myself, just need to keep looking.

That's great news, I had no idea the desert came with the windshield. Those are easier to find right now !!!
THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP ON THAT.
