| My first bigger build!
JP Hellstrom Super Chassis (will explain) Super Bully XLD axles RC4WD Steering kit with Hitec 7950th 1/2"Delrin Lowers 8/32 "all thread sleeved with 1/4" tubing with revo ends for uppers. ROOSTER novak 45t Axial Rocksters with moabs xl Rear knuckles locked out(for now) Traxxas Big Bores This instead of being a comp super is more of a trail truck. I know its not scale because of the MOA's. I just wanted and industructable set of axles and be able to put a chassis together for a more truck like feel and look. I seen a rubicon here a while back(WRXronalds rubicon) with clods and a c channel chassis and this really sealed the deal on my ideas. Im glad someone done it first. Ill run allum angle and box the ends and bolt it to my hellstrom chassis for a more scale chassis. Any recomendations let me know. I want to thank run2jeepn for all of the help he has given me. The box of goodies from JPcustomRCs.com The pile The start of a good thing! Steering power house! Last edited by Mighty1; 10-26-2010 at 09:57 PM. |

Thanks, I know its not scale thats why I titled it "bigger build" and not scale. I just like a mixture of it all , not just crawling and I wanted a big trail truck that was going to be hard to tear up. I didnt want to post this thread in the super forum because its closer scale, than comp! Sorry if the MOA's turn everyone away!! It will be fun though! |

read the first post FROM HIM dude he says clearly its not so scale cause the MOA'a lotsa good info on here if you read haha just messin!! anyhoo NICE rig and I have seen a TON of "SCALE" 1;6 rigs with MOA's, theres not many axle choices for a build this size, and untill they make a nice axial type axle thats 10 inches wide or more hex2hex then MOA it is I LOVE this man good work!!! keep it up | |
