| Stupid question... maybe
What is the external diameter of a 40 series wheel? Is it 4 inches (100mm)? If the wheel is beadlocked does it change the diameter (can't see why, but I thought that I might as well ask two stupid questions whilst I'm at it!!) Reason for asking is that I am turning a set on the lathe and have made one from 100mm diameter stock and then thought to ask the questions above.... d'oh! Thanks, Bish. |

Generally they are 3.8" tall. Beadlocks aren't going to change the actual diameter. Some beadlock rings might be a little larger than the wheel.

I did the same thing on a set of wheels I made. I had to stretch the beads some and it makes the sidewalls seem stiffer.
