Not a whole lot of progress lately... Plan on kicking it into high gear after the holidays though.

I really like this one, I could look at old pics of jeeps all day..

I did make the dash hoop the other night. It is welded to steel sleeves that are pressed onto the aluminum rock slider bars.

Merry Christmas everybody -Brian

wish rc4wd would finish thier 1/5th scale transfercase. that would be to perfect for this.

a great idea for this would be a savage 3 speed transmission with a electric motor attached. plenty strong enough in my opinion.

Is that going to be a 1:1 Transfer Case or will it have a lower outpout range?

I was aware of their 1/5 scale yota axles, but didn't know they were ever working on this.

I NEED one... guess I'm going to have to flood them with emails until they make it.

You could find a Twin Force and make the trany into a transfercase and then swap out those XF axles for the Force ones. They are a little more scale looking and WAY stronger.

I'm ready to see more Body.

Merry Christmas!

you know u beat me to a build like this. i been collecting large scale parts. i been asking them about the large scale transfercase. i have a lot of cad drawings i made of a scale atlas transfercase. i made a exact scale of the 2 speed atlas transfercase with the same shifters as the real one. but without any mill of my own im stuck with drawings lol.
