Re: 1:4 cj3a I've always suggested some twin force axles would look great on here. Maybe I'll get potter to get some one of these days. |
Re: 1:4 cj3a Very Nice work Guys, glad to see it resurrected! |
Re: 1:4 cj3a BUMP... Fishin' for updates. Probably not till next June though:flipoff: Did you lose Mr. Mystery? Love the build! I'll be watching"thumbsup" |
Re: 1:4 cj3a damn potter your kids are gonna have to finish this rig hurry the heck up already :flipoff: |
Re: 1:4 cj3a Damn he's a slow mystery builder. |
Re: 1:4 cj3a My buddy does brazing at his own pace, I'll get it back when the time is right. You guys need to cut him some slack. :flipoff: Dont you know you never rush an artist? |
Re: 1:4 cj3a Any updates? |
Re: 1:4 cj3a What would you put in the driver's seat? My Buddy? |
Re: 1:4 cj3a any progress? |
Re: 1:4 cj3a I still have this beast collecting dust but its on the back burner because all the locals started building 1:6 jeeps and they told me my 1:4 jeep wouldnt be invited to their parties. So I'm building a 1:6 scale before I finish this. Year 6... :ror: |
Re: 1:4 cj3a This sounds strangely familiar... These "locals" wouldn't happen to be raindeer, would they? |
Re: 1:4 cj3a I would show up with one of these then. Probably end up not getting invited again but it truly is is 1/6 scale. The trick is finding one! http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/...psl4cnwhna.jpg ((((((It uses a 16.5'' wheelbase))))) |
Re: 1:4 cj3a So...I don't like to critique...but I like to add my .02 when a build interests me. And I understand this project is on the backburner...and I wouldn't ask if it wasn't so close to being done. Do you think you will get enough wheel travel with those shocks? Some people really insist on the lower links being parallel to the ground...I'm not one of those people...but it looks like the lower links are pretty steep? |

Doesn't the blue star change things now? |
Re: 1:4 cj3a BLue star changes everything. i built that cage. and i had fun doing it. And i am happy that people can know it now. wish he had gotten the truck back sooner from me though. or he would be 18 months farther into the dust collection. |
Re: 1:4 cj3a Cool build! Please finish :) |
Re: 1:4 cj3a It's pretty bad when I check back in and my last post is still on the latest page! This is a seriously awesome project, please continue! |
Re: 1:4 cj3a After collecting dust for the second half of its life, I have sold this to Powershift RC. Cant wait to see you finish it Jonathan. "thumbsup" |
