Well I received my electronics from RPP...you've gotta love the salvage yard! I'm running a Losi NC esc (salvage yard), Integy 45t, 2s 2500 25c lipo, Hobbico CS-150 steering servo linked to HS-85mg micro servo for steering wheel. Gave it a little test run last night in the garage and this thing moves a lot faster then I expected it to which makes me very happy! I'm going to have to do some research to figure out how everyone has gotten their drivers arms to move with the wheel because mine is too stiff and binds the wheel/servo. Now I'm just waiting to finish the cage and get my rings and it is done! just a pic of the steering links set up. |

It looks good, glad to see you get it rebuilt very quickly. I've been waiting for 5 days now for my box from RPP to arrive w/ the Disruptor T-case so I can get mine reassembled before the snow starts to fly on Sunday.

Well my wide hexes showed up and I was finally able to make it over to MTHeads house for a little braze touch up on the roll cage which turned into a couple changes to the cage. John and I were looking at the cage sitting on the jeep and thought it looked a little too high and also noticed the windshield was leaned back more then the front of the cage so he hacked about 3/4" off the bottom of the cage and then started to sand away the rear of the cage until we got the look we were after. Here's a before and after shot of the cage. Before: After: And here's the rest of the pics. I'll probably need to invest in some metal drive shafts seeing how I have already popped the shaft coming off the tranny to T case twice just testing in my front yard. Welll damn Brian, this turned out pretty awesome. Nice work of it. I always enjoy watching these builds. Who was it that had the one where the drivers head would turn when it turned?

Not sure, but there are some pretty cool builds out there. I got my driver installed and got his arm to move with the steering wheel so I'm happy with that. | ||

I got the driver in and ended up stripping my hs-85mg micro servo so I swapped it out to a hs-225mg, should be able to turn the wheel and move my drivers arm much better now. had to get a flex shot with the rig completed. I'll try to get going on the front bumper and sliders next week after the kids are back to School. |

The cage looks much better lower like that. I always wanted to do it, but obviously never got around to it. The Jeep is looking great, Brian! |
